Cover Art Contest Guidelines
About the Contest
Arlington Community Education (ACE) selects the work of three artists annually to be featured on the covers of our seasonal catalogs. ACE is a program of the Arlington Public Schools that provides affordable educational and enrichment opportunities for children and adults in Arlington and surrounding communities.
Artist Benefits
Selected artists receive:
- Artwork featured on the cover of a seasonal catalog with a print distribution of 50,000 copies and online availability
- Recognition in the catalog with a brief artist statement
- A $300 honorarium
- Additional visibility through possible features on our website, social media channels, and other promotional materials related to the catalog
Eligibility
- Open to artists of high school age and older
- All visual art mediums are welcome, including but not limited to watercolor, acrylic, oil, photography, printmaking, collage, quilting, assemblage, stained glass, etching, handmade paper, and mosaic
Submissions
You may submit up to four images of artwork for consideration. Our review committee will select three pieces annually for use on the covers of the fall, winter, and spring catalogs.
